Update 8:32PM ET: The API went down for around 20 minutes this evening, from 6:07PM ET to 6:27PM ET. This was caused by unanticipated resource contention on our usage accounting database.

Between 6:27PM and 7:40PM, we had temporarily disabled accounting for the API. This means that API customers were not charged for usage during this period. ♥

Accounting is once again live, but in order to reduce database contention overnight, the X-Forecast-API-Calls header is not updating live. (It may be as many as sixty seconds out of date.)

Our staff will continue to investigate during business hours and put a more permanent solution in place at that time.
